The Programs Manager will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of various programs to achieve the organization's long-term objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including human capacity development, business, digital skills, and employability training. The Programs Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination, optimize performance, and drive impactful results. With a focus on business growth, partner relationships, and innovative development, this position plays a key role in expanding the organization’s reach and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a portfolio of related projects to achieve strategic business objectives. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering programs within scope, on schedule, and within budget, while ensuring alignment with the organization's goals. The Program Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive successful outcomes and deliver measurable value.

• Lead the strategy and oversee all the programs and training, including human capacity development, technology and innovation, business, digital skills, skills development, and employability training. Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and milestones. Oversee and coordinate interrelated projects within the program.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute program objectives and track program performance using KPIs and metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing partners/participants, potential participants, stakeholders, and relevant organizations to increase continued patronage, program visibility, and participation.
• Prepare annual program revenue projections and set new objectives to achieve business growth and profitability in a timely manner.

• Business Development by identifying opportunities, concept note development, grant submission, writing bids/proposals, and speaking credibly to clients/partners/donors.
• Facilitate partnerships between government, private organizations, INGOs, civil societies, SMEs, DFIs, academia, ecosystem stakeholders and local tech firms and international companies (across all sectors) in the form of commercial partnerships or joint ventures.
• Maintain comprehensive program documentation for audit and reference purposes.
• Monitor and evaluate/Impact - ensure that the program portfolio report targets and produces compelling programs and training impact stories.

What We're Looking For

•A minimum of 7 years of experience in technology, innovation, corporate training, or human capacity development, with a proven track record of program development and management.
•Strong knowledge of the technology ecosystem, SMEs, ICT skills, and TVET programs within Nigeria.
•Experience leading large programs and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
•Exceptional business development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, write proposals, and secure partnerships.
•Excellent networking skills with established relationships across sectors such as government, private organizations, and academia. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is an added advantage.
•Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
